Play of the Day (04/04/12)

Blake Griffin destroys Gasol twice in one game. So nasty.

Runner-up: Steve Nash breaks Tinsley’s ankles and makes a perfect pass.

2nd Runner-up: John Wall gets crazy with the ball before draining a jumper.

  1. Chris Minicucci says:

The more I watch Griffin’s dunks, I feel like he gets away with things that other guys don’t. The 2nd dunk in the latest installment of dunks provided by you seems to show Blake using his other arm to stiff arm Gasol. He does this all the time I feel. Isn’t that an offensive foul? I think it is, and I think refs are afraid to call it because it’s Blake poster-izing someone and they don’t want to mess that up for the league. Bad precedent to set that will only lead to problems for the league. David Stern sucks.

Professional sports should have their own version of the Hunger Games, in which each sports commissioners are set up for a “Battle-to-the-death”, “Winner-keeps-his-job” death match. Goodell could wipe out David Stern, Gary Bettman, and Bud Selig in less that 20 minutes and those 3 sports can finally be saved. Also, the NASCAR commissioner should be invited, with the stakes being a bit higher for him. If he loses, NASCAR must immediately disban and form “Lingerie NASCAR”, where carefully selected good looking women wearing little to nothing are put into very high-end convertibles and drive in a circle (always turning right instead of left) on bumpy roads to help bring out some of the women’s features. I wonder who I should pitch that to?

    Thoughts?
